Role Overview:
As a Sales and Customer Experience Specialist at MIO Culture, you will play a pivotal role in representing our brand and nurturing customer relationships. Your dynamic interpersonal skills, combined with your passion for design and sustainability, will contribute to delivering exceptional service, managing product inventory, and coordinating logistics to drive sales growth.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Cultivate new business opportunities by identifying and reaching out to potential clients and partners.
  • Engage in consultative selling, understanding client needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to showcase our products and establish brand presence.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Provide outstanding customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and addressing customer concerns.
  • Assist customers in product selection, offering expert advice and tailoring solutions to their needs.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop customized design solutions that align with their aesthetic and functional requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Product Inventory and Logistics Management:

  • Monitor product inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock to meet customer demands.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries and restock products as needed.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to optimize inventory management and streamline logistics processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of product availability, shipments, and inventory transactions.

Product Knowledge and Brand Advocacy:

  • Develop a deep understanding of MIO Culture's product range, materials, and sustainability principles.
  • Effectively communicate the unique features and benefits of our products to clients and potential customers.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, embodying MIO Culture's values and contributing to our mission of sustainable design.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a design-related role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Passion for sustainable design and environmental responsibility.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in sales techniques and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of design software and tools is a plus.

Internships

Our internship initiative welcomes a vibrant mix of aspiring minds who are currently juniors or seniors in their graduate or undergraduate programs, with a focus on design, business, and the environment. We're excited to invite emerging talents into our fold for a meaningful experience.

If you're among the selected candidates, you'll be an integral part of our team, immersing yourself in every facet of our company's operations. From sparking innovative designs to shaping strategic business approaches and fostering environmental consciousness, you'll actively contribute and learn.

We're attuned to the demands of student life, which is why we offer the flexibility of both full-time and part-time internships. We believe that balancing your academic pursuits with real-world exposure is key. Thus, we kindly request a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week, sustained over a transformative three-month period.

This internship offers you a hands-on experience, exposure to our sustainability-centered design approach, and an opportunity to nurture your skills in a professional setting.

  • Collaborate, brainstorm, ideate, and co-create innovative design solutions.
  • Assist in crafting visual assets, prototypes, and presentations to effectively communicate design concepts.
  • Engage in user research activities, aiding in the collection of insights to drive design decisions.
  • Contribute to dynamic design workshops and brainstorming sessions, bringing fresh perspectives to the table.
  • Participate in the entire design process, from initial concept development to hands-on prototyping and testing.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program specializing in Design, Industrial Design, Interaction Design, or related fields.
  • A profound passion for design and an unwavering desire to innovate and craft impactful experiences.
  • Proficiency in design software like Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or other relevant tools.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills that shine in a team environment.
