Nomad System Felt Acoustic Room Dividers

Nomad System Felt is a freestanding, acoustic, modular room divider that can be configured into privacy screens, displays or even temporary walls and rooms without hardware or damage to existing walls and ceilings. The modules can be assembled in closed or open configurations for privacy or visual separation. Open assembly configurations can be capped at the ends with spacers for a clean look. Each pack of 10 modules (5 X assemblies) builds 5 or 7 square foot sections of wall depending on configuration. Nomad System Felt is made out of recycled plastic bottles made into a felted material. The result is a durable and soft to the touch screen that diverts waste from landfills and keeps sound in check at home and work.

Diffusion

Nomad is designed for sound absorption and diffusion but won’t fully seal an acoustic environment. It effectively reduces echo, improves sound clarity, and lowers noise levels. Nomad System Felt PRO is fire rated ASTM E84 Class A, while the standard version is rated ASTM E84 Class C. Both offer excellent acoustics and durability but cater to different fire safety standards.
For an open assembly, you'll need two spacers for every second row. The exact number depends on the size of the wall you're building.
Walls can be built to any continuous length on flat, stable floors. We recommend not exceeding 20 feet in height without adding corners or supports for stability. As a rule of thumb, the wall should ideally be wider than taller.
