Marketing and Operations Assistant

The ideal applicant will have 2+ years of marketing agency experience, understanding of social media and be able to multi task. This position is full-time and requires in-studio presence. We are currently building our marketing team and the candidate must have the ability to easily shift gears between high level marketing development and operational duties (customer service). The candidate should excel at speaking with people and developing new customer and partner relationships. The candidate must be a team player and highly independent, working closely with our company owners/directors, liaise with our marketing consultant, web development and SEO partners.

Skills and Character

– Basic knowledge of WordPress

– Social community management: publishing, engaging, listening

– Social platform management, digital and social asset management

– Customer service: phone, website, email, Facebook, Twitter

– Working Adobe Suite knowledge a plus

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Internships

Our internship program is open to a variety of graduate and undergraduate students (juniors or seniors, please) in fields related to design, business and the environment. The program is designed to give students the opportunity to participate in our day-to-day operations. Candidates who are selected to be a part of our team will be working on all aspects of our company. We offer full-time and part-time unpaid internships with a minimum requirement of 24 hours per week for a minimum of three months.

Internship - Industrial Designer

We are looking for motivated designers, self-starters, organized and efficient individuals who want to be part of the exciting work we are developing for MIO and our consulting clients.

Duration

3-6 months with a minimum of 24 on site weekly hours

Requirements

-Must be able to quickly sketch and prototype ideas

-Must be enrolled or have a degree in Industrial design or equivalent

-Must be proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, Word and SolidWorks

-Must be able to gather research data and translate it into meaningful design directions

-Must be able to adapt your style to suit the client’s needs and their customer’s requirements
